3. Pay attention to locations of emergency exits so you can deplane as soon as possible if necessary.
4. Don’t put heavy items in the overhead storage areas; they may fly out during turbulence
5. Keep seat belts fastened while seated for extra protection during turbulence
6. Follow any instructions that the Flight Attendants give, and ask questions later.
7. Avoid bringing hazardous material aboard. Call the airline if in doubt.
8. Let the Flight Attendants pour hot liquids for you, as they can do so safely.
9. Drink alcohol in moderation, if at all. Alcohol will affect you more in the pressurized cabin, and in some cases leads to “air rage” or uncontrollable behavior.
10. Be alert to what is happening in the event of an emergency and follow the Flight Attendant’s instruction.
