Experts: Deadly Roads This Holiday Weekend

Experts say this Fourth of July will be the deadliest holiday weekend on roads nationwide that we have seen in seven years. It will be the most traveled Fourth of July weekend since 2007, and according to the National Safety Council the most deadly since 2008. If you or a loved one has been injured by someone driving under the influence  our experienced attorneys are ready to help you fight for your rights. Nationwide, the safety council predicts as many as 409 Americans could be killed and nearly 50,000 injured on the road. Police will be out in force for the holiday to help keep Ohio highways safe and to assist those who need help. Police are urging motorists to obey the law and stay safe. To keep from becoming a statistic drivers are urged to:

  • Buckle up
  • Slow down
  • Don't drive distracted
  • Don't drink and drive
If you are impaired and you get behind the wheel you put your life and the lives of others at risk. All it takes is a fraction of a second to lose control because of another car or unexpected situation. If you plan on partying with alcohol it is key to plan ahead and find a designated driver or hail a cab.
