A father and son traveling on Interstate 71 on Monday, August 3, 2015, were transported to a local hospital with injuries after an accident with a semi-truck under the Orchard Park Road overpass. Fortunately, no one was injured in that vehicle. The southbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for two hours while the vehicles were cleared away. Although the wreck is still under investigation, the commander for the Highway Patrol Mansfield Post said that the fault for the accident most likely lies with the father who rear-ended the truck. Alcohol was not suspected as a contributing factor for the accident.
