A car accident on Monday afternoon left a family of three dead and nearly a dozen other victims injured. Investigators are now finding that the driver who caused the initial crash had a history of car accidents. Edwin Sisson, his wife, Johann, and their daughter Amanda died during the accident on Delaware Avenue and Executive Drive just before 4 p.m. According to reports, Larry Dennison, sideswiped another vehicle before fleeing the area. Dennison then smashed into four vehicles parked at the intersection of Delaware and Executive. After the accident, two cars burst into flames with the Sisson family trapped inside one of them. 11 other people were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive their injuries. As investigations into why the driver was driving recklessly continue, a local news source has found that Dennison had a history of rear-end car accidents. Since 2009 he has been involved in three different car accidents, each of which was considered his fault. It is not believed that speed or driving under the influence was a factor in the crash, however, Dennison may have been suffering a medical problem at the time of the accident. One witness says he saw the driver slumped over when he hit the back of the truck that set off the fire. Have you been injured due to a reckless driver?
