Local Police in Columbus are searching for a black Ford pickup truck that may have been involved in a fatal hit and run accident that took place on Morse Road in Columbus on Friday evening. According to witnesses, the pickup truck is believed to be a 2009 to 2014 model, which sustained damage to the front end of the vehicle in the collision. The incident occurred just after 10 p.m on Friday evening, as a woman was crossing Morse Road just east of Sheffield Drive and was thrown to the ground due to the force of impact. She was then hit by a second vehicle that was traveling west bound with the driver of the vehicle responsible for the first impact having fled the scene.
