One Person Killed In Crawford County Car Accident

William P. Noble Jr. was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Crawford County on Monday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of Monnett New Winchester Road and State Route 100 in the early morning hours. According to the Crawford County Sheriffs Office, Kevin E. Buchanan was driving a large truck and pulling a trailer. At the same time, Noble was driving a sedan westbound on Monnett New Winchester Road. Noble failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and was struck on the drivers side by Buchanans vehicle. Both vehicles went off the northwest side of the intersection and into a nearby field where they came to rest. MedFlight transported Buchanan to a local area hospital, his condition is unknown. Noble was pronounced dead at the scene. Information on whether or not the drivers were wearing their seatbelts has not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
