Local Police officers from the Hamilton Police Dept. have released details on a serious car vs. pedestrian accident that took place on Tuesday evening at the High and Main St. bridge. According to reports, the incident took place at approximately 9:40 p.m and involved Mr. Wade A. Carpenter who was the pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle that was heading eastbound and driven by 52 year old Ms. Effie Baker. It's reported that officers found Mr. Carpenter lying in the middle of the roadway after having hit the windshield of Ms. Bakers' car.
