Police: Naked Man Causes Car Crashes On I-71

Officials released the name of a naked man who was arrested and charged with causing a multiple car accident that resulted in multiple injuries some of them very serious. Police say the suspect, who has been identified as Tracy Martin, was taken into custody after being tased and leading officers on a short police chase. The six-car accident shut down I-71 for several hours. Eyewitnesses say Martin started driving on the shoulder of interstate and sideswiping cars. Officials say he eventually lost control, flipping his truck on its side. Then a strange situation took an even more bizarre twist. Eyewitnesses told police that after flipping his truck, Martin emerged completely naked jumped out of his truck and ran from the scene. Eyewitnesses were in shock when they spoke to local media outlets. "It was just the most bizarre thing I had ever seen," said Mindy Banks, who was in a car traveling northbound on I-71 at the time. A trooper caught Martin about a mile south of the crash and took him into custody. He is being charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular assault. Officials say drug use is suspected, however that has not been confirmed. At least six people were injured in the multiple car accident, two were airlifted in serious condition. The crash remains under investigation by multiple state agencies.
