Recall Notice 900000 Honda Odyssey Vans Recalled Due To Fire Hazard

It has been announced that auto maker Honda is recalling more than 900,000 Honda Odyssey minivans due to a potential issue with a fuel pump part that could cause the vehicle to catch on fire. In a statement issued by the NHTSA, the 2005-2010 model years that were built in Alabama are at risk due to the fuel pump component that has the potential to crack and possibly cause a fire. The manufacturer has advised that due to the number of vehicles affected by the recall, the replacement parts will not be available until summer. However, interim parts will be provided to customers who will be notified sometime in April.
