Toddler Killed In Bridge Accident, Driver Charged With Vehicular Homicide

On Saturday evening a four-year-old boy was killed in an SUV crash on Clay Wade Bridge. The driver who caused the accident, Geanna Mitchell, has been charged with vehicular homicide. Mitchell was driving the SUV northbound on the bridge with two child passengers, she was under the influence and lost control of the SUV around 10:00 p.m. She drove across the center line, hit an oncoming vehicle and flipped the SUV. Four-year-old Logan Mitchell was trapped inside the vehicle and freed by a witness at the scene, he was taken to Cincinnati Children's Medical where he died from his injuries. The young girl in the vehicle was able to free herself while the driver was ejected from the vehicle, according the police. Both of them were treated for minor injuries. According to Fox 19, the SUV Mitchell was driving was stolen and she was driving with a suspended license.
