Tuesday afternoon, two people were killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle accident in the Clearcreek Township. The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. on Ohio 73 and Township Line Road. According to reports, Jacqueline Montgomery of Leesburg, Ohio failed to stop at a stop sign and struck William Williamson, who was driving a flatbed truck. Williamson's truck was forced over the center line where it collided head-on with a minivan carrying two people. Robert Large and Margaret Large were pronounced dead at the scene. Montgomery was flown to a local area hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Williamson was taken to a different hospital with minor injuries. The road where the accident occurred was closed down for four hours as the scene was cleared. The crash remains under investigation.
