U Text, U Drive, U Pay Campaign Launched By NHTSA

Launched to coincide with National Distracted Driving Month, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has just launched an initiative to help raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving especially among teenage drivers, that are increasingly becoming involved in accidents that are attributed to driver distraction. Titled "U Text, U Drive, U Pay", the national campaign is being heavily promoted with hopes that it's graphic videos and associated content will reinforce the dangers of this driving practice, which has steadily increased the number of auto accident fatalities in recent years. At the law offices of O'Connor, Acciani and Levy we urge all Ohio and Kentucky motorists to put down their phones while behind the wheel and to perhaps look into new apps that are being offered by many cell phone carriers that allow a device to send a "out of office" type of response once a vehicle starts traveling over 25 mph. In the event of you or someone that you love being involved in an accident that was caused by a driver that was texting or distracted while behind the wheel, contact us today at (877) 288-3241. Our Cincinnati personal injury attorneys have comprehensive knowledge of the traffic and insurance laws in Ohio and Kentucky and can help to determine if you have sufficient grounds to file a damages lawsuit.
