Woman Seriously Injured In DUI Accident

Melissa Rogers is in serious condition after being injured in a motor vehicle accident in downtown Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. Rogers was the passenger of a vehicle being driven by Toshawmby Myers. According to police, Myers failed to maintain control of the car and struck a pole just left of the roadway. He was partially ejected from the vehicle. Rogers was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated from the car; she was transported to UC Medical Center with serious injuries. It is believed that excessive speed and impairment were factors in the crash. The Cincinnati traffic unit is still investigating the accident and are asking any witnesses to come forward and contact law enforcement.
